Veton Kryeziu / Project Coordinator
Howdy! My name is Veton and I am the Project Coordinator at ESN Malmö. I was born and raised in a small country in South-East Europe called Kosovo and I came to Sweden to pursue my graduate studies in Leadership and Organization. I am a calm, friendly and adventurous person that likes to indulge in experiencing new things and meeting new people from all around the world.
I am very passionate about art, music, food, and sports and would gladly speak for days about these topics. My goal for the future is to travel in as many countries as I can and be exposed to many cultures as in my opinion that is the best way to learn and build your personality.
Why the ESN board?
I have been active in the NGO sector in Kosovo since 2009 when I started as a volunteer and even after I got my Bachelor’s degree, I worked for a local NGO in Kosovo, and this sector is where I find my best version of myself as I get to help other people achieve their goals or at the very least make other peoples’ lives easy in a world of turbulence, especially nowadays.
My interest for ESN is anchored in its aim of Students Helping Students as I think it is a great example of people coming together and helping one another, leaving no person behind, or excluded.
I hold the position of SocialErasmus and ExchangeAbility Coordinator. SocialErasmus is a project that aims to involve young people during their mobility experience through volunteering activities that bring positive change in the society. ExchangeAbility is a project which aims to make ESN Malmö an accessible organization for disabled students on all levels of activities.
My main task is to make sure that these objectives are met by offering our students opportunities to volunteer and build their personal and professional capacities that will benefit the whole community, not just students.
