If you want to be a volunteer in ESN Malmö, this means that you help us during the Introduction Weeks for new students (during August and January), and help from your part to ensure, that all the activities are running smoothly, and the students can come to you in case they have any questions about their new home country. As a volunteer, you won't have to be responsible of organising any events by yourself - the main responsibility will always be with a member of the ESN Malmö board, and you'll have a group of other volunteers working with you!
Sign-ups for Fadders will be announced here, and on our Facebook page, in November and May.

If you want to be a Buddy, your help is mainly needed over email and/or Facebook during July-August and/or December-January. As a buddy, we assign you an incoming exchange student, who can then ask you questions about the life in Malmö, Sweden, and the University etc. Your main task is simply to write to them and help with whatever you can - offer your expertise as an older student! You can always consult us in ESN Malmö if you cannot answer a certain question, and we'll see how we can help. No stress - you are not expected to be an expert on anything; the most important thing is to make your Buddy feel welcome to Sweden and to Malmö. After the arrival of the new students, we'll arrange separate Buddy nights for mingling with the new students, and as a Buddy, you are more than welcome to join all the activities during introduction weeks!

Sign-ups for Buddies will be announced here, and on our Facebook page, in November and May.

We are currently not looking for Volunteers and Buddies!
